It is our pleasure & hope is to provide a space, for you and yours, that may give solace & joy. We want to inspire guests to come & experience the quiet of the woods; The loud rushing of the Nisqually River; The bright bird calls that wake you; The mages tic & magical & true raven that playfully swooshes its' flight over your head. We want you to explore how the Western Red Cedar & the Alaskan Yellow Cedar differ in the Native American spoken words. Listen to that Great Horned Owl! What is that little woodland spirit that rustles in the ferns; A snow hare? A red ground squirrel? 'Get the nature guide books out; Is that a Trillium flower? What is a Marmot? How old do Mountain Goats get? Can anyone say how many Elk are in the herds we passed in the fields leading up to the Park entrance? So many questions..You will feel just like a kid, again. And, your kids will have fun investigating those questions along side you.
At the end of the day, it is not just a photo snapped at the Paradise parking lot. This is your reconnect. This is what the Earth offers. This is how we live in the Pacific Northwest Cascade Mountains. In the cabins' guest book, we have noticed that over the 13 years of entries that, many guests felt as they returned to the cabin after their day on the Mountain, they felt "at home". There is no greater compliment, to us as owners & operators, than those words. "Home". Comfort. Peace. Solice. Remember those trails & views, those fun family times in the cabin & those romantic "I do" & "Yes!". We don't need pictures for those lasting memories to post on a website. The guest books are more than enough.
